DEPARTMENT OF OBSTETRIC PHYSIOLOGY

Our mission is to maintain and improve health and to rehabilitate recently delivered women.

Our key activities are:

  • 24/7 provision of specialized medical care to recently delivered women using the latest techniques, diagnostic methods, treatment and preventive procedures;
  • strict compliance with the sanitary and anti-epidemic rules;
  • rooming-in and compliance with the WHO breastfeeding recommendations.

We have the state-of-the-art equipment for diagnostics and treatment, all necessary medications and instruments.

Our team consists of highly-qualified and experienced medical specialists. They ensure 24/7 follow-up of women and newborns, individual care, consultation on breastfeeding, quiet and patient-friendly environment.

There are private, semi-private and ordinary wards with comfortable furniture, a fridge, a TV, a baby changing table and a cradle in the department. We offer women a wide range of physiotherapeutic procedures and consultations by a psychologist (if necessary).

Women are discharged on day 3-5 after a vaginal delivery and on day 5-7 after Caesarean section. Before discharge, we consult women on birth control and family planning, postpartum urinary incontinence and genital prolapse. Relatives may meet discharged women in the Discharge Room and to make photos and videos there.

If women have any questions after discharge, they may get a relevant consultation in room 13 of the clinical and diagnostic department on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.
